Group rooms are working offices for undergrad student teams. They are simply furnished, with a table, chairs, whiteboard, and network connections. Some have a display screen with an HDMI connector. There are 38 group rooms; most accommodate six students; some will seat 10 or 12.
Our online booking system is available for groups to reserve rooms up to several weeks in advance. You can access through a web client, or apps for iOS or Android devices.
Group rooms may be booked by undergrad students for a wide range of activities, such as brainstorming, design discussions, preparation and presentation of reports, meetings with clients, and meetings with industry representatives and anyone else visiting the ILC. Outside the academic year they become workspaces for projects and outreach programs.
