Smith Engineering students come from – and work – all around the globe. We believe that engineering is for everyone, and champion diversity and inclusion in everything we do. Students joining us for their engineering studies not only get a top-tier education, but become part of an international engineering community for the rest of their lives.

QSuccess Engineering International Student Mentorship Program

The QSuccess Engineering International Student Mentorship Program supports first-year international students in the Faculty of Engineering. The program pairs first-year engineering international students with upper-year engineering students mentors for one-on-one support. The mentors guide their mentees in academic, personal, and cultural transition, helping them gain confidence and necessary skills for a successful first year at Smith Engineering.

The mentor team consists of academically strong and culturally diverse students dedicated to supporting their mentees throughout the summer and their first year.
