Our newly launched Engineering Career Accelerator Program (ECAP), integrates career development training, industry insights, and hands-on experiential learning into your degree program embedding professional skills and experiences right from first year. The Engineering Careers Team provides comprehensive support and exclusive access to our esteemed alum community and vast industry networks, as you create your own unique career journey.

The program enhances academic knowledge and equips you with the essential professional skills and hands-on experiences you need to enter the world of work with a wealth of insight and unwavering confidence.

 

 

FIRST YEAR – Spend in-class time strengthening your resume and learning about different career paths in engineering

SECOND YEAR – Get discipline-specific industry insights and networking practice in the classroom. Attend engineering employer and industry events. 

THIRD YEAR – Choose which internships to apply to after joining our optional internship program. Get feedback from our team on your resume and interview skills. 

PAID INTERNSHIP – Bring your education to life and apply theory to practice with an internship in one of many exciting industries

FINAL YEAR  - Return to Queen’s with industry knowledge to enrich your academic experience, build your leadership skills, and prepare for your career.
