If enrolled at another university, you may take Queen’s courses with a Letter of Permission (LOP) from your home institution, specifying the Queen’s course codes and terms.

NetID - Activate your NetID. Your NetID is your login for Queen’s online services.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) at Queen’s
To enhance cybersecurity, all student accounts require an MFA. You must provide your NetID, password, and a second verification method to log in.
How to Set Up MFA:

Register: Go to the MFA Registration Site and follow the on-screen instructions.
What Happens If You Don’t Enroll in MFA?
You will be prompted to set up MFA each time you log in. Prompts will continue for 14 days.
After 14 days, access to SOLUS will be blocked until MFA is enabled. Enroll promptly to avoid interruptions! Plan accordingly to avoid delays!
Queen’s email - Access your Queen’s email account NetID@queensu.ca, which is used for all university communication. Check it regularly. See: Queen’s Microsoft 365 and Queen’s Microsoft Outlook
Solus – Log in for Queen’s course enrollment software, tuition and fees, and academic records.
Tuition – Pay by the due date (usually the first day of the term) using Solus – see tuition and fees
onQ – Access your online course(s) using onQ, Queen’s Learning Management System: https://onq.queensu.ca/d2l/home You can access your online course on the first day of class (or within 24 hours of late enrollment) by logging into onQ. There, you’ll find the syllabus, timeline, lessons, assignment submissions, and grades. You can also communicate with your instructor, TA, and classmates. Expect an introductory email from your instructor or TA within the first week.
