On September 23rd, graduate students from the Department of Chemical Engineering presented their research as part of the Annual Queen’s University and Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) Chemical Engineering Poster Session organized by the Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Association (CEGSA).
Students of Drs. Ehssan Koupaie, Cao Thang Dinh, Aristides Docoslis, Lindsay Fitzpatrick and Marianna Kontopoulou showcased their research in a wide variety of sub disciplines. Students had the opportunity to further develop their communication skills and were adjudicated by a panel of judges including Drs. Scott Parent, Dominik Barz and Carlos Escobedo from Queen’s and Dr. Mariya Marinova from the Royal Military College of Canada. Best Poster was awarded to Cornelius Obasanjo for “In Situ Regeneration of Copper Catalysts for Long-Term Electrochemical CO2 Reduction to Multiple Carbon Products”, and People’s Choice was awarded to Maryam Ghazizade Fard for “Application of Various Techniques for Anaerobic Digestion Modelling”
