Kexue Zhang is an Assistant Professor and Verner Family Fellow at Queen's University, jointly appointed by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Before joining Queen's, he held postdoc positions at the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, the University of Calgary, and Queen's University. He obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Shandong University. His research interests lie broadly in systems and control, particularly in hybrid systems and control theory with applications.
